As these are very unprecedented times for us all, we want to inform you that we follow guidance from the government and local authority within the setting.

A COVID risk assessment is in place.

We have a COVID policy in place.

Toys are limited for each session and cleaned at the end of each session.

Main touch points are cleaned throughout the day eg, door handles, tables, taps etc.

Soft toys, mats etc are kept to a minimum.

Children and staff wash their hands upon arrival and throughout the day.

Children are spaced out within café, lunch times and registration/circle time.

PPE is available within the setting for staff to use.

Hand sanitiser is available in all rooms/areas.

Visitors/Parents are not allowed to enter the building.

Items from home are limited within the setting.

Parents are to drop off at the main gate following a one-way system and maintain social distancing.

Parents are encouraged to wear face coverings whilst dropping off and collecting.

Rooms will be kept as ventilated as possible with windows open during opening hours.

Children will be encouraged to play outside as much as possible.

During inside play, children will be split into smaller groups.

If an essential visit is needed for example safeguarding, visitor will be asked to scan the QR code, leave their contact details, hand sanitise on arrival and departure, wear a mask, maintain social distancing and be asked if they have or have been in contact with anyone showing COVID symptoms during the last 14 days.

If contact with someone who has received a positive test result, self-isolation will be adhered too.

It is particularly important that if any child or family member are showing any signs or symptoms that they remain at home, until they are either requested to take a test or feel well again.
